Self portraits during COVID

This series of self-portraits emerged during a period of isolation, when I could no longer photograph others and turned the camera towards myself. What began as a practical decision soon became an intimate exploration of femininity—my own, and perhaps that of many women.

Through light and shadow, I investigate beauty, vulnerability, social expectations, seduction, and the many roles we inhabit throughout our lives. Each image becomes a dialogue between presence and absence, strength and fragility. As both photographer and model, I occupy a double role, creating a space where looking and being looked at merge into a single act of self-discovery.
